Biological treatments for quality improvement and production of Aloe vera gel

Research goal: The aim of this work was to develop a sustainable and innovative organic cultivation protocol, usable by local Italian companies, based on the use microbial biostimulants (beneficial bacteria fungi, arbuscular mycorrhizae algae) able improve growth quality production medicinal gel Aloe vera. Materials Methods: experiments, started in December 2020, were conducted greenhouses CREA-OF Pescia (Pt), Tuscany, Italy (43°54′N 10°41′E) vera (4 year old plants). experimental groups were: i) group control, irrigated with water substrate previously fertilized; ii) Effective microorganisms iii) Trichoderma spp. iv) v) Ascophyllum nodosum fertilized.
